GPS Geodetik CHC i70 merupakan alat ataupun perangkat yang digunakan untuk menerima sinyal berupa gelombang sinus yang dipancarkan oleh satelit GPS. Receiver GPS diletakkan pada permukaan bumi guna menerima sinyal tersebut dan mengolahnya menjadi suatu data tertentu. Sebuah GPS receiver bekerja untuk menemukan 3 atau lebih sinyal satelit yang ada dan kemudian memproses informasi yang didapat dari satelit-satelit tersebut untuk dapat menentukan lokasi yang ada.
Receiver berdasarkan tipe yang ada dibedakan menjadi 2 yaitu tipe branded serta tipe OEM. Kedua tipe ini dibedakan berdasarkan sudah dirangkainya atau belum dirangainya alat GPS receiver tersebut. Pada tipe branded GPS receiver yang ada telah dirangkai sedemikian rupa sehingga kita dapat langsung dan mengoperasikan alat GPS receiver tersebut. Sementara itu untuk untuk tipe OEM merupakan tipe dari receiver GPS yang belum dirangkai di mana kita membutuhkan papan PCB sebagai salah satu komponen dalam rangkaian yang akan kita buat.

CHC GPS RTK I70 is one of the most cost-effective smart GNSS receiver selected by a large number of surveyors for its outstanding performance and reliability. It leverages the latest GNSS technology by integrating 220 channels with field software dedicated to topographic and construction surveying;
CHC I70 incorporates dual hot-swappable batteries, allowing continuouswork. Integrated 3.75G network modem, TRx UHF module, E-bubble, bluetooth and WIFI connectivity provides a seamless solution in the field. High resolution LCD panel also exploits new method for surveyors to check receiver working states. All these features integrated into a small, ergonomic pakcage allows the most productive day of a surveyor.
